Hackney Quest plays a unique and key role in the local community.  Our approach to supporting young people and their families makes a significant difference in tackling the issues of social exclusion by providing positive, long-term support systems and networks to whole families via the following projects:

• Positive Activity Programme - after school, Saturday and holiday programmes  and workshops for  120 young people aged 9-18 years

• Adult Volunteer Programme - 30 adult volunteers supporting our young people, families and exclusions provisions

• Youth Participation Volunteer Programme – young people aged 14+ years developing to become peer leaders, volunteers and run the activity programme

• Exclusions Provisions - 2 x daytime exclusions provisions for permanently excluded KS4 young people and secondary aged young people on fixed term exclusions

•  Family Support Project – established in 2010, we offer a confidential drop in listening and signposting service, parenting and anger management courses and access to counseling and ongoing support

•  Events – working with the local community to organize community peace events and fundraising events as well as volunteering with other organisations to provide additional support
